Comfrey Salve
Comfrey is a plant also known as “knit bone”. It is an amazing plant with a long history of use in treating cuts, abrasions, bruises, strained muscles, arthritis, torn ligaments, tendons, and broken bones! Yes, broken bones! Comfrey promotes the growth of new tissue and speeding the healing process. There are documented cases of people wrapping broken bones in comfrey leaves.
The genus name Symphytumcomes from the Greek word ‘sympho’, which means to “unite”, as in closing a wound or bone fracture.
The Energy Garden infuses comfrey leaves and comfrey root in sweet almond oil and coconut oil along with healing bees wax, and then we add additional ground comfrey leaves making it extra strength. Our comfrey salve is an anti-inflammatory and also good for the immunity too. Massage it on the bottoms of your feet at night for a great night’s sleep.
